We offer Mandarin Chinese classes of all levels. Our teachers introduce students not only to the basic elements of language (reading, writing, grammar, syntax, pronunciation and oral communication), but also to Chinese culture and civilization (customs, holidays, cuisine, and overall way of life). Our courses guarantee success in the following Chinese language certificates:

HSK Elementary Level

At this level, students are introduced to the Chinese language and culture for the first time. The objectives of this level aim at very basic communication skills. Students at this level should be able participate in simple, everyday conversations (in writing and orally), to greet and introduce others, participate in simple telephone conversations and ask for and/or give directions.

HSK Intermediate Level

Students at this level continue to build their knowledge of increasingly complex grammatical structures. There is also an emphasis on correct pronunciation. This certificate demonstrates that students are capable of exchanging information and personal opinions on a variety of issues. Students will also be able to orally communicate in more complex, everyday situations (i.e. dealing with services, when using public transport, and interacting with hotel, shop and restaurant personnel, etc). Finally, through the improvement of written speech, students will be able to write simple, brief texts in Chinese.

HSK Advanced Level

At this level, students enrich their vocabulary, improve their pronunciation and master more complex grammatical and syntactical structures. Students will also be able to comprehend, communicate and express personal opinions about more complex issues, such as those that are concerned with health, the economy and current events.
