Arabic is the sixth most commonly spoken language in the world and is one of the United Nation’s official languages, along with English , French , Russian , Chinese and Spanish .  Over 180 million people worldwide speak Arabic as their native language and it is the official language in the following countries: Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates. 

Due to recent economic and political events, the Middle East and the Arabic world in general is becoming more and more significant. Today’s major superpowers carefully follow current events and circumstances in the Middle East, as these events often dictate oil prices and, in turn, the state of the global economy. This is reason enough to learn the Arabic language. Knowledge of Arabic is becoming an increasingly desirable skill in the business world and can help you get ahead!
