They also have the ability to take part in everyday conversations and are able to read and write simple sentences.Level 2Students at this level have mastered grammar to a relatively high level and know approximately 1000 kanji and 6000 words. They also have the ability to converse, read, and write about matters of a general nature.Level 1At this level, students have mastered grammar to a higher level and know approximately 2000 kanji and 10000 words.
