Lena (Swedish and Danish) |

Lena was born and raised in Lerum, Sweden. Before moving to Denmark she studied Graphic Arts and worked as a typographer in Gothenburg. Lena has a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Greek and English and a Master’s degree in Modern Greek from the University of Copenhagen. She continued her academic studies in England where she earned her doctoral degree in Modern Greek Studies from the University of Birmingham in 2006. After she finished her studies, she worked in England for several years.
Lena has been living in Greece for many years now and has an excellent knowledge of both English and Greek. She has taught Greek language and literature to Norwegian university students at the Norwegian Institute at Athens and has worked as a researcher and assistant at the Nordic Library in Athens. Lena teaches Swedish and Danish at all levels. She has an especially strong interest in Scandinavian cinema and enjoys introducing her students to the different cultural aspects of her native countries.
