Yingyan was born in China and is an alumnus of the Northeast Normal University with studies in the History of Ancient Cultures. She speaks excellent English and very good Greek. For the last few years, she has been living in Greece, working as a professor of the Chinese language. Having attended various training seminars on the teaching of the Chinese language, she teaches her students with particular enthusiasm, familiarizing them not only with the language, but immersing them in the culture of China. She has participated as interpreter in the Ninth Congress of Economy and Trade, Greece-China, that took place in Beijing.
